Services - How I can help

I work with my clients on a wide ranging basis, with my roles more often than not covering more than one of my four offered services below.

  • Product Strategy & Ownership. I work with businesses to shape their product vision, define clear roadmaps, prioritise features, and align teams.
  • Technical Leadership. I bridge the gap between product and development. From choosing the right stack to managing teams, I ensure your product is built efficiently and delivered to spec - without dragging timelines.
  • Web & Platform Development. I design and build custom websites and platforms that are built for purpose. This is different depending on the business size or current operations.
  • Brand & Digital Strategy. I help businesses modernise their brand, simplify their message, and build an online presence that actually brings in work. No fluff - just results-focused strategy that connects with real customers.

Platform

Hero CAD

HeroCAD was created to solve a clear operational problem within the dental design space: connecting labs with skilled freelance CAD designers through a structured, professional digital platform. My role in this project was as the full tech lead and developer, taking responsibility for shaping the platform from a technical and product-delivery perspective. This included translating the business vision into a working system, defining the architecture, planning the feature set, and leading the build of the platform itself. The challenge with HeroCAD was that it was not a simple brochure site or standard service website. It needed to function as a specialist two-sided platform, supporting both dental labs posting work and CAD designers receiving, managing, and delivering that work. That meant the product had to balance marketplace thinking, workflow clarity, strong user experience, and commercial scalability. I led the technical direction of the platform by defining how the system should operate across onboarding, job creation, job allocation, designer workflows, and account management. The focus was on building something that felt clear and usable for both sides of the marketplace, while also ensuring the underlying structure could support future growth and additional features over time. A major part of my work was taking a complex service model and turning it into a clear digital workflow. That included shaping the way users would move through the platform, how information would be captured, how jobs would be managed, and how the experience could feel efficient rather than admin-heavy. The aim was to create a platform that improved speed, visibility, and reliability within a specialist industry that often still relies on fragmented communication and manual processes. As tech lead, I also drove the wider development approach, making decisions around stack, structure, scalability, and implementation. My role was not just to write code, but to make sure the platform was being built properly from the ground up — with the right foundations in place for performance, maintainability, and future expansion. Alongside the build itself, I helped define the product in a way that made commercial sense. HeroCAD needed to be more than a technical idea; it had to become a viable platform business. That meant ensuring the workflows, user roles, and feature set aligned with how the service would actually operate in the real world, while keeping the product clear enough to onboard users confidently. The end result is a specialist platform proposition that brings structure to a highly operational process. HeroCAD positions itself as a modern dental CAD marketplace and workflow tool, giving labs and designers a far more joined-up way to manage work digitally.

Catena Digital

Platform

Catena Digital

I led the product strategy and development of Catena Digital, a secure tokenisation platform built to help organisations bring real-world assets onto a permissioned digital infrastructure. The platform enables asset owners to structure offerings, onboard verified investors, and manage the full token lifecycle from issuance through to future transfers, with a strong focus on trust, compliance, and long-term usability. As product lead, I shaped the end-to-end platform vision, user journey, and commercial model, translating a complex tokenisation process into a clear digital experience for both issuers and investors. This included defining how the platform presents investment opportunities, supports portfolio management, and creates a controlled route to improved liquidity through a peer-to-peer secondary market. As developer, I oversaw and delivered the website and platform experience around Catena’s core proposition, ensuring the product clearly communicated its value: non-custodial infrastructure, institutional-grade security, and a practical application of tokenisation for assets such as property, whisky, and SaaS-linked opportunities. I helped turn a highly technical concept into a credible, investor-facing product that is commercially understandable and operationally scalable

Riddell Project Management

Platform

Riddell Project Management

The Riddell Platform required more than just development support - it needed product ownership, technical structure, and a clear plan for becoming a more stable and scalable operational platform. My role was to step into an existing environment, assess the platform properly, and bring structure to the work required across product, delivery, and technical planning. This included reviewing the current state of the system, identifying risks and gaps, and helping define a practical roadmap that balanced immediate fixes with longer-term platform improvement. A major part of the work involved analysing tickets, existing issues, infrastructure concerns, and feature requirements in order to create a more logical order of delivery. Rather than treating the platform as a list of disconnected tasks, I helped shape the work into prioritised sprints with a clear purpose - starting with foundational issues around security, setup, technical consistency, and platform readiness before moving into wider feature and reporting improvements. I also introduced more structure around the delivery process itself. That included helping define acceptance criteria, improving how work should be documented, and creating a clearer framework for sprint planning and execution. The aim was not only to get tasks completed, but to make sure the platform was being managed in a way that reduced ambiguity, improved decision-making, and gave the client a better handle on what was being delivered and why. From a technical and product perspective, my involvement covered both user-facing and operational concerns. This included platform bugs, design consistency issues, administrative experience, reporting requirements, and the wider need to ensure the system could operate as a dependable live product rather than an accumulation of fixes and workarounds. Part of the value I brought to the project was translating technical problems into a more commercial and operational plan. Instead of simply scoping tickets in isolation, I helped frame the work around platform readiness, system reliability, and the practical needs of a live business using the software day to day. That meant balancing technical debt, usability, delivery planning, and business priorities all at once. The result was a clearer roadmap for how the Riddell Platform should evolve, along with a more structured delivery model to support that progress. My role sat across product ownership, technical planning, and delivery leadership, helping turn a reactive development environment into a platform with a more considered path forward. This project reflects a key part of how I work: stepping into complexity, creating order, and giving digital products the structure they need to move from uncertainty into focused delivery.
